Antiparos wedding with "something blue" dashing details

If you have done your Greek island homework you already know that it is quite likely to spot a beloved Hollywood family taking their evening stroll in the cobbled streets of Antiparos and yet Paros' sister island has a lot more to boast on. The NYC arriving Cristin & Apostolos fell for the bougainvillea-clad pasty facades and how each day merges soothingly into another as Cecil Beaton once noted. Their wedding ceremony found its perfect spot on the islet of Panteronisi, situated between Paros and Antiparos. "We looked at several venues in Athens, Mykonos, Spetses, etc. which were all incredibly beautiful but for whatever reason as soon as we arrived in Antiparos – we knew it was the spot! There was something magical about the island that drew us in. The fact that it’s a smaller island meant that everyone would be in close proximity to one another and we pretty much had the island all to ourselves!” said the bride whose Carolina Herrera "Audrey" gown is still in our bride-goals. As not to take away from the beautiful villa or the stunning sea views, we kept the colors somewhat simple and let the ambiance speak for itself. For the centerpieces, we used mercury glass vases filled with an assortment of white flowers (peonies and hydrangeas) and a variety of herbs (mint, basil, etc), candles, and blue accents here and there. The bridesmaids all wore varying shades and textures of blue - grey and the men wore complimentary suits and blue - grey ties.”
