If you have been looking for soft-hued 2021 destination wedding inspiration this Island Athens Riviera dreamy pastel microwedding topped with colorful summer bouquets is just the right kind. We're talking gorgeous bridal and bridesmaids arrangements in bold brights and a completely romantic floral vision for the couple's alfresco celebration on Island Art & Taste in Athens. Demiropoulos Studio captured the pretty so come right this way to view it all.

When Carolina & Kosmas got in touch with us our bride's wish was to have a timeless scheme and palette to fit the couple's classic vows by the sea, but at the same time, she proclaimed her love for punchy, colorful arrangements that would pair wildflowers and romantic blooms. Now, when designing a concept for your upcoming nuptials your venue's layout and style do play a very important role in the style of your celebration, therefore, Caro's idea for a pastel-toned wedding was just right. As we didn't however wish to leave her wishes unfulfilled we decided to go all the way colorful and juxtaposing the entire delicate scheme give her and her bridesmaids the colorful summer bouquets of her dreams.
We created a classic romantic paper suite featuring peonies, wax flowers, and garden roses to match the couple's floral decor, pairing them to pink astilbe and gorge garden blossoms. Carolina's preps began early in the day at the beautiful cottage of the Island Art & Taste Gallery where Carolina and her lively party had the chance to catch up and enjoy some family time before her bridal portraits.
Meanwhile, outside our bride's doorstep, we were setting the scene in lavish pastel centerpieces, a bon-bon bar strewn with all kinds of pink and white candy, plus the couple's lovely wishing station, a modern lounging area with white garden furnishings, pink and rose-gold sequin cushions, and the reception area, laced with pink colored art de la table, gold cutlery and rose-gold rimmed glassware and a sea of candles. As Carolina and Kosmas -like all destination wedding couples 2020- had to downsize their list of guests, they decided to go bigger on florals, which gave them the opportunity to have plenty of floral decor for the dinner area. The fete began with some aperitivo for the guests, and soon Carolina's bridesmaids announced her arrival.

The beautiful lovebirds said I do in an Orthodox ceremony at the picturesque Island Athens Riviera chapel with views of the Saronic gulf right below their feet, and we were so touched to see how meaningful it all was for our couple. Officially pronounced husband and wife, Kosmas and Carolina got whisked away by their photographers for a portrait session down the beach, while guests enjoyed cocktails and canapes on the manicured lawns. Soon as the couple returned a firework show turned the night into day and the party began.
If there is anything 2020 nuptials have taught us that is you don't necessarily need to throw a massive wedding to have the time of your lives. Love was definitely not canceled for these two! Cheers to that!
